Hu Renyi graduated from School of Visual Arts, New York, NY, USA. He currently teaches in Fine Arts Department, School of Visual Arts, NY, New York, USA.

His solo exhibitions includes Come Clean” (Minsheng Art Museum, Shanghai, 2014), The War of The Worlds” (V Art Center, Shanghai, 2013), Hu Renyi (Leo Gallery, Shanghai, 2011) and The Memory of Yi (Shi Ji Han Mo Gallery, Beijing, 2009).
