K11 Art Foundation, Hong Kong (KAF) and
Mori Art Museum, Tokyo (MAM) are pleased to announce the inaugural programme of
the long-term partnership between the two leading institutions in Asia. The
co-organised Online Exchange Programme comprises a series of online panel
discussions among 5 participants from Hong Kong and 4 participants from Japan,
including artists, curators and art educators.
The programme is curated to encourage
cross-cultural and cross-disciplinary exchange, with the aim of examination,
research and exploration into the role of learning and interaction in various
art practices and institutional programming, coping strategies for the global
pandemic, and the future possibilities and development of education as a core
discipline in the appreciation of art.
At the conclusion of the programme, KAF and MAM will join hands to consolidate the discussion content and findings to create open learning resources that will be made available to the public, fostering a global community in shaping the future of art education.
