Youthfulness punctuated with technological savvy, wild imagination, and charisma best describe the works featured in exhibition SCM7/K11, where participating artists question the notion of “objecthood” through urban sensibility that is heavily influenced by the subcultures of Hong Kong.

Beneath the curious diversity of the showcased items, the exhibition aims to explore everyday objects through the transformation of their physical forms. This artistic mutation produces a series of mini-spectacles that do not seek aesthetic appeal, but rather an opportunity for the seemingly banal to redefine their purpose.
