Environmental protection should not just stop at the slogan “blue for paper, yellow for aluminum cans and brown for plastic bottles”. Permanenze aims at giving old things a second life by considering the nature of every waste material, in response to the upcycling concept of the environmental protection.
Participants of this workshop have to prepare a wooden box / metal tin (20cm to 25cm in diameter) as the ukulele body. With the explanation of the basic structure of ukulele, sound principles and other components and trim by instructor, participants can DIY their personalized ukulele.
The workshop aims to give participants an understanding of the connection of design and our daily life, and create more innovative ideas and methods in the future.
