The New York Times: Carbon’s Casualties brings together the climate photography captured by Pulitzer Prize-winning The New York Times photographer Josh Haner. In a series of award-winning, striking still photographs and dramatic drone footage, Haner uncovers the pressing and wide-ranging realities of climate change. Since 2015, Haner has worked across the globe to document the many consequences of a warming world. From chronicling communities disappearing alongside the surroundings that once sustained them, to natural ecosystems on the brink of crisis, to disappearing sites of irreplaceable cultural history, Haner highlights the grave repercussions of a shifting world as natural ecosystems and ways of life are vanishing.
