Victor Wang is a curator and exhibition-maker based between London and Shanghai. He was appointed by the K11 Art Foundation (KAF) as the curator of Inside China – L’Intérieur du Géant (Shanghai Station), a travelling and collaborative exhibition between Palais de Tokyo, Paris and the KAF. Currently, Wang is appointed by the K11 Art Foundation to work on a collaborative exhibition with the Institute of Contemporary Arts, London. With upcoming projects at the Centro de Arte Contemporáneo Wifredo Lam, Havana and the MoCA Pavilion, Shanghai.

In 2015 Wang curated solo exhibitions with artists such as Emma Hart (6th Max Mara Art Prize for Women winner), the first institutional solo exhibition of Austrian artist Oliver Laric in London, the first solo exhibition of Cuban artist Eduardo Rubén (b.1958) in Germany, and a prologue for artist Fleur Melbourne’s Thelma & Louise commission for Serpentine Gallery Park Nights.

From 2014 to 2015 he was the Curator in Residence at Contemporary Art Heritage Flanders (CAHF), a multi-institutional collaborative platform initiated by the four contemporary art museums in Belgium: S.M.A.K. (Ghent), Mu.ZEE (Ostend), M HKA & Middelheim museum (Antwerp).

Wang has worked on curatorial teams for biennials such as the Twelfth Havana Biennial (2015) and the Vancouver Pavilion at the 9th Shanghai Biennale (2012). Wang holds a MA in Curating Contemporary Art from the Royal College of Art, London.
