On 25 March, K11 Art Foundation and the K11 Art Foundation International Council announced Xin Liu as the recipient of the inaugural K11 Artist Prize.

The K11 Art Foundation and the K11 Craft & Guild Foundation present Boundless Reverie: Chinese Savoir-Faire and Contemporary Art at K11 MUSEA in Hong Kong from 26 March to 19 May 2024. The exhibition pays tribute to the golden era of cultural exchange between China and Europe while showcasing a curated selection of contemporary artworks that look to, but are not confined to, this shared global heritage.

K11 Art Foundation announces the launch of a new contemporary art prize: the K11 Artist Prize, an initiative aimed at providing emerging Asian artists with a significant platform for recognition and advancement. The awarded artist will not only gain critical exposure through an exhibition but will also receive mentorship from members of the K11 Art Foundation International Council.

Presented by K11 MUSEA and curated by the K11 Art Foundation, Thai artist Korakrit Arunanondchai’s immersive video installation Painting with history in a room filled with people with funny names 3 is adapted specially for the exhibition space at K11 MUSEA in close collaboration with the artist, and it will include “The Body” with an oversized pond resembling an outline of a figure – which was seen in its first public appearance in 2015.

Adrian Cheng, the Founder of K11 Art Foundation, has today announced the formation of the K11 Art Foundation International Council, which will champion future talent by spotlighting emerging Asian artists and driving cross-cultural exchange.

K11 MUSEA presents City As Studio, China’s first major exhibition of graffiti and street art, tracing the evolution of a global movement. The exhibition is curated by Jeffrey Deitch and supported by K11 Art Foundation.
